A Message from Austin Hardware's president, Bill H. Stambaugh
Today, I would like to thank and recognize several groups of people who are making a difference. Austin Hardware is in our 64th year of operation, and the attitude of service, our Customer First strategy, our employees, and our customers have sustained us over the years.
First, I am thankful for Austin Hardware's employee Teams who have supported, nurtured, and listened to each other, our customers, and our vendor partners over our 63-year history. While most of our employees have over a decade of service to our customers, we have hired new talent in every department within the company. Our talented employees are delivering results for our customers and making our company better. Our employee teams' dedication to serving our customers, enhancing logistics, solving problems, and adding value is the fuel that ignites our passion for improving our customer's businesses and products.
Second, I am proud of the daily efforts of our employees to help our customers build critical equipment and specialized commercial vehicles. The equipment and vehicles produced by our customers support our fighting forces, Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), First Responders, Tradesmen and women, Municipal Infrastructure, service providers, and many more. Our role is to support the manufacture of these goods, and we strive daily to improve our products and our service so our customers' products can function as designed and be delivered on time.
Third, I am appreciative of the ways our customers challenge us. Whether it is VAVE projects, Lean initiatives, simplified replenishment through our VMI solutions, cost downs, or service enhancements, we are always expected to be improving. These expectations keep us moving forward in rewarding and meaningful ways. When we find a new solution of value to one customer, we take that solution and offer it more broadly, benefiting all who choose to participate.
Finally, serving and supporting everyone at Austin Hardware is an honor for me and our management team. We are never satisfied with the status quo, and all strive to incrementally get better day after day, month after month, and year after year.
